Winter Olympics

As most of you know, this years' Winter Olympics will take place in Vancouver, British Columbia. What I am focusing on are the characters above, the Winter Olympics' 2010 mascots. There is Sumi, Quatchi and Miga. Now you are probably wondering what the hell those things are. Miga - A mythical sea bear, part orca and part kermode bear.
Quatchi - A Sasquatch. He comes from the mysterious forests of Canada and dreams of being a hockey goalie.
Sumi - An animal guardian spirit with the wings of the Thunderbird and legs of a black bear who wears a hat of an orca whale. He lives in the mountains of British Columbia. I looked this up on the Internet and I thought some people would be interested.

New Year's Eve

My new year's eve was really a downer not the night of 2k10, the night of 2k9. I went to my parents' friends' condo/apartment/room thingy. It was nice there I watched some T.V. I had a fun time. Until supper. Supper was really great we ordered from my favourite restaurant in Florida: Boston Market. It has all kinds of food there, but my favourite is the macaroni and cheese, it is the best! They ordered a bunch of that stuff. After supper we walked down to the ocean to put our feet in, suddenly, my dad got cold, and if you know my dad, you would know that he never gets cold. We had to put towels around his shoulders because he was freezing and it was about 20 degrees!!! (celcius) We had to leave after that. Turns out my dad had sun poisoning or something because, obviously, he had too much time in the sun, and he didn't put on enough sunscreen. (It's kind of self-explanatory...) I watched some stupid disney channel special, it really sucked and it was a drag having to go to bed before 12:00am.

This year.....

New Year's Eve me and my family went to the hockey game Montreal Canadians v.s. Florida Panthers. obviously you know who I wanted to win. Yup. You guessed right. The Habs. I was screaming like there was no tomorrow. Some Panthers fans were giving me some dirty looks, like "Shut the hell up!" or something like "Go back to where you came from you dirty little Canadians!" I couldn't care less, I was having a blast. Later that night I couldn't stay up til' 12 I was just too tired and I lost my voice screaming and there was no "vibe"or "oomph." Something I do remember doing after the game was using these litle explosive things called "POP-ITS" They were really cool you took one, you threw it on the ground, then they popped and the trick was the company put a tiny bit of gunpowder for some real bursting. I had fun that year, at least more than last year.

My Doggie Moka

I've got a labrador pup,
she doesn't quite fit in a cup,
she is acually quite tall,
she drives me up the wall.
With Moka I'd rather be with,
that is no lie, no scandal or myth.
She is the one that I live for and love,
she is as peaceful as a dove.
Moka wakes me at dawn,
I walk her up and down our lawn,
until she does her duty,
she is a real cutie.
You obviously see,
that me and my Moka were meant to be.
